Pre Covid 19 the firm would travel twice a year to Asia to promote Samoan Offshore products and Stevensons Lawyers legal services. The cities and countries that were regularly visited were Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. Plans are underway for the offshore division of the firm to introduce innovative succession plans to the Asian market utilising Samoan international companies designed to manage assets, reduce costs and provide for continuity of operations. With the regulatory pressures on the offshore industry and increase in competition, innovative products are important for Samoa’s ongoing success as an offshore jurisdiction.
