Jack Sheehan



Jack is a Partner and the Head of the Regional Tax Practice at DFDL. He specializes in providing advice on international tax planning, mergers and acquisitions and general tax advisory. Jack has extensive experience in advising clients on inbound and outbound investments in Asia. He is featured regularly as a speaker and writer on international tax in the Asia region.

Jack is nominated as Asia Tax Leader 2018 and is listed as a leader for tax controversy by International Tax Review. Jack was a speaker at some of the most important tax conferences about Asia, including Asia Tax Forum in Singapore, European Chamber of Commerce, American Chamber of Commerce and at leading academic institutions including Queen Marys Law School London and Chualalongkorn Law School Thailand. Jack was also a speaker at the UK-Asian Business Forum in London where he discussed Asian inbound tax planning for UK based companies. Jack is the Chair of the European Chamber of Commerce Tax and Legal Committee and was a previous Co-Chair of the American Chamber of Commerce Tax Committee. Jack has extensive experience in advising companies on international tax matters across multiple jurisdictions including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Cambodia and Laos. Jack is a post graduate student at Oxford University where he studies tax law.
